EMMS is the Emacs Multi-Media System. It tries to be a clean and
 small application to play multimedia files from Emacs using external
 players.

THIS is something I've been looking for from a long time!

Now my Emacs desktop is almost complete: mail is handled by Gnus, IRC and various messengers are handled by ERC, blog is handled by blogmax ... and of course, various text editing stuff are handled by the beast itself.

I just need to find a decent emacs based web browser (no, Emacs/W3 sucks) and Emacs world domination will be complete!
