real men just upload their data to a public server and let the Internet mirror them. Back in 2001, I made some admonition graphics for DocBook, because those used were quite ugly. Today, I needed them for another project and of course, four years later, these files have of course disappeared from my hard drive.

Even if I had no answer from DocBook upstream, my graphics were still on the SourceForge page ... waiting for me to download them ! Who said there is no personal egoistic interest for releasing your stuff?
